We have been staying with our floating house in Martinique for several months. For those who do not know this island, I would like to remind you that although we are in the Caribbean, we are in the European Union. Martinique is part of France.
This year at anchorage, there was no question of who is organizing Halloween – our US friends and neighbors with whom we spend a lot of time (especially our children).
Perfectly prepared by Jennifer, affectionately called Halloqueen by us, in whose veins flows the blood of a real witch. Every corner on the boat was decorated, tables were bursting at the seams with carefully labeled food, and the speakers were streaming themes from movies like The Adams Family and Tim Burton’s Halloween Town. Everything was buttoned up!
Kuba and Julian couldn’t wait! Just few day earlier parents and children from more than a dozen local yachts declared their willingness to give the little monsters sweets. We scheduled a plan to move our dinghies around the anchorage, but unfortunately due to the new, not entirely clear covid restrictions (which were introduced just a day before), the whole action had to be canceled. However, it did not change our plans for our evening party with the closest families! For two days we had been preparing our outfits, switching around with ideas, because one was better than the other.
It was an unique, magical night, additionally highlighted by the full moon in Taurus.
And what came out of it, please enjoy some pics below. A very special HALLOWEEN vlog is almost ready to be post at our LOVE BOAT GROUP available for our Patrons only. We will make it available on our channel next week.
