ATTENTION: CREW/BABYSITTER ABOARD WANTED IN THE CARIBBEAN ⛵🌎

written by Bartek July 8, 2020

ATTENTION: CREW/BABYSITTER ABOARD WANTED IN THE CARIBBEAN ⛵ START SEPTEMBER 2020

We are a sailing family of 4 looking for sailboat crew/kid’s teacher/part of family and more in one enthusiastic, open-minded, and open-hearted person to share the joys, the beauty, the dangers, and the downsides of sailing the World with us on a sailing trimaran. GAP year, school/corporation burnout, you do not fit in the narrow matrix, or simply are ready to raise the anchor? Perhaps we have something for you.

We are looking for a free, creative, open, honest, trustworthy, responsible, tolerant person, not connected with terrestrial matters, with a sense of humor, loving life, adventure and sailing, meeting new people, places and cultures, and tired of life frames, ready to break free with a family living a full life aboard a modern, comfortable, and safe yacht cruising the Atlantic for now (preliminary plan: start and Winter in the Caribbean, Spring in the Bahamas and maybe in the US, and Summer in Europe)

We look for positive energy, enthusiasm, desire to explore, and to live in such unusual and generally tropical conditions and for all types of tasks associated with being a yacht crew member, guardian and teacher of children, as well as comprehensive assistance in everyday matters. This includes not only all yacht and utility work, but often childcare, supplies, cooking and other daily duties, which we want to share just as much as all the obvious pleasures of such life, as well as all our skills and knowledge.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT US:
Us? Two, as you can see, crazy, open, but at the same time well grounded and responsible people plus two amazing kids. Extensive experience in ocean sailing. Extensive experience in self-development mainly on the path of tantra, but not only. We both learn and help others reject all programs that govern “our” lives originating from family, religion, institutions, society, etc. so as to enjoy an ever fuller, conscious and truly one’s OWN life. Ania practices yoga, we both create self-development workshops and meditate. We listen and create music. We play several instruments. … and we make movies. More about our family:
https://sailoceans.com/about-me/our-family/

Speaking of movies, if all this resonates in your consciousness and your deepest self, we kindly ask you for a short video in which you tell us about yourself and why you would like to experience something like that with us and why are we a good match. Also, tell us what are you afraid of when thinking of leaving a “normal” life for such a long time. Don’t think about what we would like to hear, just tell us how you feel about it. You can’t hide your real self in sailboat conditions for more than a few weeks.

Command of English sufficient to teach children is required. Would you like to learn to sail, kite, dive, photograph, play a hang drum or didgeridoo and other more or less crazy things? Are you interested in spiritual, mental, emotional, sexual self-development, etc.? Great.

The length of the cruise with us is min. 9-10 months starting September / October 2020 (in the Caribbean). In addition to sharing everything in our life, we offer pocket spending money + we cover all expenses associated with your stay aboard. We cover the flight to the boat, and after at least 6 months with us also a return ticket and free time away from us and off the boat. We’re excited to meet you, and then we are off.

Please send us a 2-3 minute video about yourself
and a description of your experience in the following areas:
– childcare experience
– teaching experience (pre-school, school, home teaching)
-knowledge of foreign languages
– sailing experience
-cooking
-other interests and skills that you want to share with us

You can also send us any of your creations (art, etc.), social media profiles, blogs, etc. Please kindly send applications only to team@sailoceans.com by August 10, 2020. Decision will be made by the end of August.

You should receive an automatic reply few minutes after sending your application in.

Thank you. Hugs and kisses,

❤
Ania, Bartek, Kuba and Julian ️s/y Poly

And if you want to learn more about the life of a crew member / nanny / family member and … life with us, we invite you to an interview with Kasia, who has spent the last two years with us:

Greetings from Carolina! I’m bored at work so I decided to browse your blog on my iphone during lunch break.
I enjoy the information you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home.

I’m surprised at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone ..
I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, awesome site!

Hi from Klaas of Canada. Enjoying your adventures , l especially delight in seeing families sailing. As you cruisers show parts of God’s amazing creation and creatures, i am just in awe of how beautiful His world is. Don’t let haters discourage you, some people are just downright mean and jealous, don’t let it get you down. Could you do a small segment on the make, year, and engine about your ship. Keep on enjoying His creation, l pray for His safety upon you, May God bless yous…..Klaas

Hi Klaas! Thank you for watching and for the blessings. We don’t get put down by haters. We consider them a free PR machine :D. We’ll make a more technical version of the boat tour for sure one day. I am just not sure when. Many projects and idea sin the pipeline. Cheers mate. Bartek

Are you willing to take on someone from South Africa? I’m currently a student studying Montessori ( i finish the end of the year). I’ve been looking at working on yachts for next year, i want to get out and travel.
