Looking for sailboat crew/kid’s teacher/part of family and more in one enthusiastic, open-minded, and open-hearted person to share the joys, the beauty, the dangers, and the downsides of sailing the World with us on a sailing trimaran. GAP year, school/corporation burnout, you do not fit in the narrow matrix, or simply are ready to raise the anchor? Perhaps we have something for you. START IN SEPTEMBER 2020.
We are looking for a free, creative, open, honest, trustworthy, responsible, tolerant person who loves life and adventure, sailing, meeting new people, exploring new places and cultures, and tired of mainstream life, but not afraid of hard work. Break free with the equally full of life in every aspect, curious family on a comfortable and safe yacht for the moment around the Atlantic, winter in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and the summer in Europe.
We expect positive energy, enthusiasm, conscious desire to live in such unusual and generally tropical conditions and for all kinds of tasks that involve being a member of the crew of the yacht. This includes watching and educating kids, watching the boat, supplies, cooking, cleaning and other daily duties and chores that would be shared with us. Life on a sailboat is first and foremost a lot of work. Knowledge of foreign languages is very welcome.
Good command of English language, experience with educating and watching over children, and overall good organizational skills around normal daily home duties are a must.
Sailing experience is a definite plus, but not a must. However, you must be fairly certain you are not too susceptible to sea sickness and even more certain that life aboard is something that you’ll love.
Experience in self-development in the areas of spirituality, conscious living via tantra, meditation, yoga, or other alternative paths a plus.
Do you want to learn to sail, kite surf, dive, photograph, play a hang drum, and/or didgeridoo and other more or less crazy things? Are you ready to be your true, conscious, loving, and empowered self? Excellent. Commitment for about 10 months starting September 2020 in Suriname. Exact details of terms to be discussed. We cover all expenses aboard and the flight to the boat from your home. The return flight is covered only after at least 6 months onboard. We also provide you some spending money – NO SALARY.
About us: Two, as you can see, crazy and intense, open-hearted and open-minded, yet down-to-earth, and responsible people plus two amazing kids – 5 years old Julian and 7 years old Kuba. Considerably experienced in ocean sailing and everything involved in organizing life aboard. Enthusiastically working with social, familial, religious, system, and sexual deprogramming to help us and others to fully open to life on our own terms via yoga, meditation, tantric practices. Ania plays guitar and ukulele, and Bartek plays anything with rhythm ranging from shaker, through hang drum, all the way to drumset (all aboard).
If all this resonates with your innermost self and feels deeply like your kind of life, please apply to us with a short movie, where you talk about why you would like to experience such a thing with us, and why you think you are such a good fit to be a part of our family in these unique conditions. Why is this unusual setting actually beneficial for you and feels like your very own choice rather then another option handed down by someone else to follow in life? Tell us all about your life and work and self-development experiences, interests, emotions. Share anything you like. We want to get to know the real you. Don’t think of what we’d like to hear or see, but rather how to present the most of your true self. Tell us also about your ideas on engaging and educating kids and what kind of experience do you have in that area. Tell us what are your concerns and worries when you think about leaving “normal” life for nearly a year.
Please send us:
* 2 minute video of you

- childcare experience
- teaching experience (traditional schooling, homeschooling)

- all your interests and skills you want to share with us
You may send us also information such as your social media pages, movies, blogs, your photos, or any other creations. We are looking forward to getting it no later than 15th of June, 2020. Please apply ONLY by emailing team@sailoceans.com and thank you for your patience waiting for our response (please make sure you get an auto-response).
We are excited to get to know you.
Ania, Bartek, Kuba and Julian Dawidowscy
